Emmelie Åström, Former CAGE PhD Candidate
Emmelie is now a postdoctoral fellow at UiT/The Nansen Legacy in marine ecology, focusing on Arctic benthos with a specialty for cold seep habitats. At the moment, Emmelie is working on carbon sources and trophic interactions in benthic Arctic-Barents Sea organisms. Emmelie’s research interests are food web interactions, biogeochemistry as well as deep-sea systems and chemosynthetic habitats.
